LD Lines OverviewLD Lines, a subsidiary of Louis Dreyfus Armateurs has set a precedent in offering ferry transport across the Western Channel at very affordable prices. LD Lines started in 2005 with just one route from Portsmouth to Le Havre and then expanded rapidly as a group acquiring Transmanche ferries offering Newhaven to Dieppe route in 2006. Armed with this experience and the positive customer feedback, LD Lines have recently expanded their route network by adding new sailings from Dover to Dieppe, Dover to Boulogne, and Cherbourg to Rosslare ferry crossings, again being loyal to their motto of offering quality service at affordable prices. |

Portsmouth to Le Havre - Up to 2 sailings daily (All year) - Average duration of 8 hours(Overnight Crossing) 5 hours (Day Crossing)
Dover to Boulogne - Up to 6 sailings daily (All year) - Average duration of 1.45 hours (Cruise Ferry) and 1 hour (Fast Ferry)
Newhaven to Dieppe - Up to 3 sailings daily (All year) - Average duration of 4 hours (Cruise Ferry)
Rosslare to Cherbourg - 3 sailing weekly sailings (All year) - Average duration of 17 hours (Cruise Ferry)

LD Lines onboard services
Onboard LD Lines, there is no compromise in the standard of service of provided.
All of the LD Lines ships offer a full range of facilities onboard, including
restaurants and bars, well furnished lounges including business lounge with
wireless internet connection, play areas for kids and onboard accommodation
including comfortable cabins, specially designed sleeper seats which recline
completely to turn into beds along with club class and standard reclining seats.
LD Lines also offer duty free shopping onboard as well as gaming areas. Their
brand new addition to the fleet is the fast catamaran Norman
Arrow, the first of its kind with the ability to operate at speeds
of upto 40 knots carrying 1200 passengers and 400 cars and freight vehicles.
